Our Mission
We exist to help people actually follow Jesus in every area of their lives.
First Rockwall began in 1852 as the New Hope Baptist Church located in downtown Rockwall. Since then, the church moved a mile south where our current building stands today. A group of men and women desired to build a church where they could follow Jesus and make disciples in Rockwall County.
Today, we have kept at that same mission. We do this through weekend and midweek worship and discipleship for all ages. Our mission is to help people actually follow Jesus in every area of their lives.

Our Ministries
Our Ministries provide opportunities for every age and stage of life to grow in faith, serve others, and connect with the church community.
Kids Ministry
Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, we're helping the youngest members of your family discover that faith is real and Jesus loves them.
Student Ministry
For students in grades 7–12, this is a community where hard questions are welcome, fellowship is essential, and following Jesus is anything but boring.
College Ministry
College is one of the most formative seasons of your life, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Find community, ask the big questions, and grow in your faith alongside friends.
Adult Ministry
Whatever season you're in, there's a group of people here who will know you by name, open the Word with you, and walk through life alongside you.
Men's Ministry
Iron sharpens iron. Men at First Rockwall gather to grow in faith, build real friendships, and become the men God made them to be.
Women's Ministry
From Bible study to meaningful community, Women at First Rockwall gather to grow deeper in faith and walk together through life.
Music + Worship
Every Sunday, our worship team leads us to encounter God together, and there's always room for you to join!
Serve
We believe the church is called to serve outside of its walls. Join the team and be the hands and feet of Jesus in Rockwall County.
