Wednesday Activities

  • Pastor’s Bible Study is at 6:30 PM in M.L. Jones Chapel.
  • Adult Worship Choir & Orchestra are in the Choir Room. Contact the Music Ministry for more details.

The Wednesday Night Meal and Wednesday night activities for preschool, children, and students return this week!

Name Tag Month

During the month of October, we wear name tags to help us recognize and get to know each other better. Pick up a name tag in your Sunday School Class or at the tables in the Worship Center Foyer.

Operation Christmas Child

Please stop by the table in the Worship Center Foyer during the month of October to get information and pick up shoeboxes. Filled shoeboxes can be returned to that same table anytime in October.

Wednesday, October 25th

Invite the community to join us! This is a great opportunity to reach families in our area and show them what First Baptist has to offer.

Sunday School Classes will be asked to participate with trunks, decorations, setup, and tear down. As always, we will need lots of candy.

We need LOTS OF CANDY for our Fall Festival on
Wednesday, October 25th.

Please help us fill up the big candy containers placed throughout the church with individually wrapped candy.

Venture 2024

Friday, January 12 – Sunday, January 14

Registration is now open for students and volunteers.

Venture Weekend is our version of a Disciple Now retreat where students (grades 7-12) spend time in Bible study and worship at the church. Each group is divided by grade and gender.

Grief Share

Grief Share is a special support group for people grieving the lose of someone close. FBC Rockwall hosts Grief Share meetings each Tuesday at 2 PM & 6:30 PM in room B102.

Step 1

At the end of the church service, during the invitation time, come down to the front of the auditorium.


Step 2

Tell the Pastor that you are wanting to join the church by one of the following ways.

  • By Letter: The last church of which you were a member was Baptist.
  • By Statement: The last church of which you were a member was a Bible church or a non-denominational church.
  • By Baptism: You are professing faith, and/or have never been baptized in a Baptist, Bible, or non-denominational church.

Step 3

When available, attend a 2 & 1/2 hour church membership class, in which we will go over what it means to be a member of FBC Rockwall and answer any question you might have. Then, if necessary, proceed forth in baptism.
