Partnering with parents to help grow children in the Lord

1st to 6th Grade

WE ARE HERE TO WORK WITH YOU TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO KNOW AND LOVE GOD. Our goal is for each child to have a working knowledge of the Bible, know the steps to salvation, have a personal relationship with Christ, and be equipped to share their testimony with others. SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY 9:30AM 11:00AM Children are taught age-appropriate biblical concepts by qualified adults. These classes are located on the 3rd floor of the Children’s Building and the PreTeen Wing. Kindergarten – 6th graders are encouraged to attend one hour of Bible Study as well as attend a Sunday morning Worship service with their parents or guardians.

Special Programs and Classes

New Christian Class

A special class offered after a child’s public profession of faith. This class provides a child with the next steps in their faith walk as well as basic church membership information.

Leaders in Training (L.I.T.)

For 6th graders who have made a profession of faith, the LIT program/classes encourage students to grow deeper in their faith through service projects, testimony preparation, and Bible study. These students meet throughout the year and learn the importance of the servant heart.

Check Point

For 5th and 6th grade boys only, a four-week study teaching biblical principles that will equip them for adolescence.

Radiant You

For 5th and 6th grade girls only, this four-week study helps girls discover the young woman God intended them to be, equipping them with the tools needed as they prepare for adolescence.

Wednesday Night Activities

First Family Meal

Fellowship Hall | 4:30 – 6:15 pm

Wonderful “home-style” meals in a warm and friendly atmosphere allow you to slow down a little and feed the family on Wednesday evening before sending the kiddos to music activities.

Girls Mission organization

1st – 6th grade | 4:30 – 6:15 pm

GMO teaches the importance of missions as a lifestyle that honors God by praying, giving, and participating in the work of the church. The girls complete projects throughout the year to raise money for World Missions.

Music Activities

Music is a vital form of worship, and FBC has an excellent program on Wednesday evenings (during the school year) designed to teach children musical concepts, worship, and of course to have fun!

Boys Mission organization

1st-6th Grade | 6:30 – 7:30pm

BMO is a great place for the young boys of our church to build lifelong friendships, but the heart of this ministry is to teach our boys why missions is important. Through various activities, BMO raises money for our world mission oering, teaching these soon-to-be men the value of nancially contributing to mission work.
